The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for enhanced engine performance and durability. All pistons are heat-treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle for increased strength. The piston skirts are coated with a high-tech molybdenum disulphide coating, which reduces break-in time and prolongs piston life. The kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. For two-stroke engines, the pistons are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content, resulting in an ultra-light yet highly durable design. For four-stroke engines, the pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, offering superior strength and durability. High-compression pistons for four-stroke engines enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range, while big bore pistons increase engine displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. Replacement piston rings for two-stroke and four-stroke models are available as needed. Vertex pistons are designed as OEM replacements, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance.
