Maxima V-Twin Synthetic Primary Oil is a high-performance, full-synthetic, ester-based motorcycle gear oil designed for use in 1984 and newer Harley-Davidson models with wet diaphragm spring clutches. It provides superior protection for transmissions and primary chaincases, ensuring smooth shifting under high loads and RPMs. This shear-stable formula resists mechanical shearing and heat breakdown, maintaining optimal viscosity in extreme conditions. It features extreme pressure additives to protect against shock loads, while advanced detergents keep components clean and free from deposits. The oil enhances clutch engagement, prevents slippage, and extends chain life by minimizing wear and stretch.
