The Twin Air Standard Air Filter is a high-performance, dual-layer foam filter designed specifically for off-road applications. Its outer coarse, open-pore foam captures larger particles like dirt, grime, and sand, while the fine inner foam traps smaller particles, ensuring optimal filtration and maximum airflow. The fused construction of the outer and inner layers prevents dirt from becoming lodged between layers, a common issue with inferior two-piece designs. This design ensures unrestricted airflow, critical for engine performance, while protecting your engine from damage caused by dirt penetration. Each filter features an adhesive that withstands repeated cleanings with harsh solvents or gasoline, ensuring durability and long-lasting performance. The filter is slightly smaller than stock designs to increase air space around the filter and improve circulation within the airbox. Its thick, flat foam sealing ring creates a secure, greaseless seal with the airbox, doubling as a breathable gasket for enhanced airflow. Pre-oiled with Twin Air’s proprietary biodegradable foam filter oil, each filter is carefully treated using a state-of-the-art process. The foam is fully submerged in oil and massaged to evenly coat all pores, then cured in a temperature-controlled environment for maximum performance.
