The S&S Cycle Kick Starter Cover Kit is a high-quality reproduction of the original 1940-1950 Big Twin kicker cover, designed to closely match the factory design while incorporating modern improvements. Made from 356-T6 aluminum and 100% CNC-machined, this cover maintains an authentic external appearance, including period-correct casting imperfections. Internally, it features an updated design with reinforced material around the kicker boss for added strength and stability. A single kicker shaft bushing ensures complete oiling, reducing wear and improving durability. The cover is clearanced for a large throw-out bearing and includes precision-reamed clutch arm bushings for easy installation. A modern, low-profile kicker shaft seal enhances reliability without altering the classic look. This kit accepts stock hardware and filler plugs and comes with a gasket for easy installation.
