The ProTaper Fuzion Henry/Reed Handlebars feature an innovative flex locking system that allows riders to adjust the handlebar feel based on terrain conditions. With a quick adjustment, the bar can switch between a stiffer, more controlled feel (“Locked”) or a more shock-absorbing, flexible feel (“Unlocked”). Constructed from 5mm proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, these handlebars offer superior tensile and yield strength. The crossbar is made from cold-forged aluminum, while the CNC-machined 6061 aluminum clamps are secured with aerospace-quality polymer. The 4mm wall design ensures a balance of lightweight strength. Additional features include a high-tech shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish for durability, clutch side knurling for maximum grip adhesion, and chemically applied graphics that resist scratches and peeling. Plastic bar end plugs help protect against the elements and provide a solid base for grip ends.
