The Vertex Piston Kit offers high-quality replacement pistons designed for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. – **2-Stroke Pistons**: Made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, ensuring a lightweight yet durable construction. – **4-Stroke Pistons**: Forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and longevity. High-compression options enhance power and torque, while big bore variants increase displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added durability, and the piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulfide coating to reduce friction, improve break-in time, and extend lifespan. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke replacement rings are sold individually, while four-stroke rings come as a set.
