Description

The Vertex Piston Kit provides high-quality OE replacement pistons designed for durability and performance. The 2-stroke pistons are gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. The 4-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for enhanced strength and longevity. High-compression 4-stroke pistons improve power and torque across the RPM range, while big-bore pistons increase engine displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added durability, and the skirts are coated with a Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) coating to reduce friction, enhance break-in time, and extend piston life. The kit includes the piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips.
