Piston Kit

Description

The Vertex Piston Kit is designed for durability and performance. It includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. For 2-stroke engines, the pistons are made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, making them lightweight yet strong. For 4-stroke engines, the pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability. The forged high-compression pistons enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range, while big-bore pistons increase engine displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment for added hardness and durability. Additionally, the piston skirts feature a Molybdenum Disulphide coating to reduce friction, improve break-in times, and extend piston life. Standard pistons and rings are OEM replacements, ensuring a precise fit and reliable performance.
