Description

The Vertex Piston Kit is designed as a high-quality OE replacement for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. – **2-Stroke Pistons**: Made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, resulting in a lightweight yet strong piston. – **4-Stroke Pistons**: Forged from 2618 aluminum for enhanced strength and durability. High-compression versions improve power and torque across the RPM range, while big-bore options increase displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added durability, and the piston skirts are coated with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) to reduce friction, ensure quicker break-in, and extend piston life. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke rings are sold individually, while four-stroke rings come as a complete set.
