The Vertex Forged High Compression Piston Kit is designed for superior performance and durability. Made from 2618 aluminum, these forged pistons enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range. The piston skirt features a molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) coating, reducing friction for faster break-in and extended lifespan. A T-5 heat treatment process ensures strength and reliability. This kit includes a high-compression piston with a shot-peened dome, a DLC-coated wrist pin for reduced wear, and a nitride-coated ring set. It is a direct OEM replacement, providing a strong, lightweight design for demanding applications. Suitable for four-stroke engines, this kit increases displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. Each kit includes the piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips.
