The Vertex Piston Kit is designed as an OEM replacement, offering high performance and durability. – **2-Stroke Pistons**: Made from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with 18% silicone content, providing a lightweight yet strong construction. – **4-Stroke Pistons**: Forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability. High-compression versions enhance power and torque across the entire RPM range, while big-bore versions increase engine displacement, torque, and peak horsepower. – **Coating & Treatment**: All piston skirts feature a Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) coating for faster break-in time and extended lifespan. A T-5 hardening and tempering cycle further improves durability. – **Kit Contents**: Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. Two-stroke piston rings are sold individually, while four-stroke rings come as a set. This kit provides a high-quality replacement option for maintaining and enhancing engine performance.
