These high performance cylinder studs are crafted from 180,000 psi yield strength, fine grain, heat treated premium grade 8740 steel for superior durability. Rolled threads after heat treating ensure maximum compressive stress retention and long fatigue life. The case end features a slight interference fit for excellent thread contact under high temperature. Studs are centerless ground for precision and finished with a premium black oxide coating for enhanced appearance and corrosion resistance.
