The KFI UTV Series Wide Winch is a robust and reliable winch with a 4,500-pound rated line pull, perfect for UTV applications. Designed with durable cast aluminum and steel components, this winch features water-resistant seals to protect against the elements. It boasts a heavy-duty, all-metal, cam-activated free-spooling clutch and an all-metal planetary gear drive with a 166:1 gear ratio, ensuring dependable performance. The winch operates with a 12V DC, 1.7 HP permanent magnet motor and includes dynamic and mechanical braking systems for enhanced safety. The cable measures 15/64″ in diameter and 38′ in length, paired with a multi-directional roller fairlead. The winch’s dimensions are 14.6″ L x 4.55″ D x 5″ H, and it uses a standard 4-hole mounting bolt pattern (3″ x 4.875″). Its drum size is 2″ (D) x 3.19″ (L), and the complete kit weighs 36.6 lbs. The package includes a deluxe handlebar-mounted mini-rocker control switch with an optional dash mount bracket and a heavy-duty corded remote switch. A UTV-specific mounting plate is required and sold separately. This winch is backed by a 1-year limited warranty and is recommended for use with a 12 Amp-hour minimum battery.
