Description
The KFI Synthetic Winch Rope is a high-strength 3/16-inch by 50-foot synthetic cable designed for superior durability and safety. Made from SK75 Dyneema 12-strand synthetic fiber, it boasts an average break strength of 5,400 lbs., making it ideal for winches rated at 3,500 lbs. or less. This lightweight rope is easier to handle than steel cables, with no risk of rust, splinters, kinks, or curls. The rope features a heavy-duty nylon eye guard for added protection and includes a 5-foot sliding protective sheath to prevent wear from rough or sharp surfaces. Its soft eye design allows for easier connection to plows compared to steel thimbles. Additionally, it has very low stretch and floats in water, making it a reliable choice for various winching applications. For those replacing a steel cable, it is recommended to use a new roller fairlead or aluminum hawse fairlead to prevent damage from metal burrs. The terminal end connection can be cut off for compatibility with later-model winches. This winch rope is a safe and efficient upgrade, easy to install in 15 minutes or less.
