Description

The NGK SILMAR9F9 Laser Iridium Spark Plug is designed for high performance and longevity. It features an iridium-tipped center electrode that is six times harder than platinum, ensuring durability and efficient ignition. The ultra-fine electrode reduces voltage requirements while improving spark performance. A platinum pad or fine wire tip on the ground electrode enhances wear resistance, making it ideal for distributorless ignition systems. Constructed with high-grade alumina ceramic and a 98% pure copper core, this spark plug efficiently dissipates heat, preventing overheating and ensuring reliable starts. Triple seals prevent leakage, while trivalent metal plating provides superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties. Corrugated ribs on the insulator prevent flashover, further enhancing performance. Engineered as an OE or equivalent replacement, the NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug is recommended for vehicles that originally use iridium alloy plugs. It is compatible with the 2020 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 and other applications.
