Hastings Cast Piston Ring Sets are engineered for Twin Power pistons, designed to meet the needs of both performance and durability. These sets include cast iron compression rings and three-piece flex-vent oil rings, providing reliable sealing and oil control. The reverse torsional taper face second ring and “spiral-on” design of the oil rings enhance functionality and ease of installation. The product is available for different applications, including 1200cc, 1340cc Shovelhead, and 1340cc Evolution engines. The 1340cc Shovelhead rings have a standard bore size of 3.498″ and feature 3/16″ oil rings and 1/16″ compression rings, suitable for 78-E83 FL and 79-E82 FX models. For 1340cc Evolution engines, the rings also fit a standard bore of 3.498″ but come with 5/32″ oil rings and 1/16″ compression rings, compatible with L84-99 Evolution Big Twin models. Each ring set is designed for two pistons, ensuring compatibility with the specified engine configurations.
