The Dynatek Dyna S Dual Fire High Performance Ignition System is a complete, self-contained electronic ignition upgrade for 1970-2003 Harley-Davidson® carbureted models. Built with Hall Effect magnetic sensors, it is resistant to rpm fluctuations and unaffected by dirt or oil. This system improves overall performance by altering timing less than three degrees, extends spark plug life, and eliminates the need for points and condensers. It installs easily and is trusted by championship racers for its consistency and reliability. The Dyna S fits completely behind the ignition cover and uses a magnetic rotor with the stock mechanical advance unit, ensuring the original factory advance curve is maintained. For street applications, it must be used with an aftermarket 5 ohm coil such as the Dynatek DC7-1 or an early Shovelhead stock points coil. Not recommended for OEM coils. Made in the U.S.A.

Note: On ’84-’99 fitment models listed, an advance weight mechanism is required. On ’86-’03 XL and ’80-’99 Big Twin models listed, mechanical advance unit is required. Not legal for use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles. Check local regulations before installation.
