The Battery Tender Solar Charger Controller is designed to convert an existing solar panel into a smart charger, preventing overcharging or discharging of batteries. It features a built-in charger utilizing Battery Tender’s 3-step automatic charging technology (Qualification, Bulk Charge, Float) for efficient and safe charging. The controller includes reverse polarity protection, is spark-proof, and has a state-of-charge LED indicator. It supports input voltage up to 32 VDC and a maximum input/output current of 3 ADC. The unit is waterproof and comes with a temperature compensation sensor for optimized charging performance. The controller is mounted on a frame and includes a 5 ft. DC cable (20 AWG). Warranty coverage includes five years for the solar panels and three years for the solar controller.
