Description
The Arai XD-5 Helmet in Black Frost finish delivers premium dual sport performance for adventure riders. Featuring the PB-cLc² shell construction with a super fiber belt reinforcement in the forehead area, this helmet is designed for advanced impact protection. The VAS-A shield system is lowered to improve the helmet’s ‘glancing off’ ability, while allowing quick, tool-less shield changes. Its redesigned peak improves ventilation, high-speed stability, and sun-blocking capability.
Ventilation is enhanced by front logo ducting, a mouth shutter, and an adjustable inner shutter to direct airflow for either cooling the face or reducing shield fogging. The VAS-A Max-Vision Shield accepts the optional Pinlock® insert for superior fog resistance. The AR spoiler is positioned for adventure riding comfort and aids in exhausting hot air from the crown area. Inside, the odor- and stain-resistant liner has removable foam layers for micro-fit adjustments.
The helmet includes a retractable air flap to reduce wind intrusion and manage interior humidity. The Hyper-Ridge® design provides a flat surface for easy installation of communication devices, while deep speaker pockets with cable management keep electronics secure and comfortable.
