The Arai Signet-X Full Face Helmet in Black Frost offers advanced protection, comfort, and performance for riders with a narrow head shape. Featuring the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, the Signet-X is engineered to enhance shell shape and reduce impact energy transfer to the critical temple area. Its Peripherally Belted – Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell blends multiple materials for optimal strength and affordability.
The long oval interior shape increases space front-to-back and decreases width side-to-side, ideal for riders with a pronounced forehead. A VAS latch securely locks the shield to prevent accidental opening, while the larger latch design allows for intuitive shield operation. The included VAS-Max Vision shield accepts the Pinlock® 120 lens (included), ensuring a clear, fog-free view in varying conditions.
For ventilation, the QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts deliver excellent airflow, even with the top vent shutter closed. An odor-resistant liner resists bacterial build-up, helping keep the helmet fresher longer, and the removable ES chin cover enhances aerodynamics while improving mouth area exhaust. FCS® cheek pads use multi-density foam supported by a ‘spring’ system to cradle the face and reduce wind noise.
