Description
The Arai Ram-X Helmet features an intermediate oval shape designed to fit the majority of head shapes in the North American market. It incorporates the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover, which is smaller and lower, allowing for a smoother shell along the Snell test line in the temple area, increasing safety by improving the helmet’s ability to glance off objects during impact. The VAS-Z shield system provides a lower pivot point for enhanced aerodynamics and smooth sliding in case of contact with the ground or obstacles. Additional features include a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner for superior impact absorption, Z Resin construction that improves shell strength while reducing weight, and the Pro Shade System for versatile light adaptation. The helmet is glasses-compatible, with removable foam in the ear cups for easy fitment. It also includes a VAS-Z Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens. Certified to SNELL M2020 and DOT standards.
