The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Element Helmet is a premier full face helmet designed to deliver superior protection, comfort, and aerodynamics. Its outer shell utilizes advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination that includes a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, uni-directional carbon composite, aramid fiber, and fiberglass. This layered structure is bonded with epoxy resin to maximize performance and minimize weight.
The helmet features an eight-piece, multi-density EPS liner with six specific densities for optimized energy absorption across different zones. The A-Head Fitment System allows riders to fine-tune the fit in terms of height and angle, while the polished EPS surface reduces rotational forces to lessen the likelihood of concussion from oblique impacts.
Aerodynamics have been finely tuned through CFD simulations, wind tunnel testing, and real-world track use. The helmet includes two interchangeable spoilers (standard and long race versions) and lateral winglets for enhanced stability. Ventilation is maximized through 11 ports, including chin, top, and exhaust vents, actively channeling air through the EPS to maintain rider comfort and clarity.
The visor is an Optical Class 1 shield with 220° lateral and 57° vertical field of view, featuring anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments. Additionally, cheek pads include an emergency release system, and the liner is fully removable, washable, and anti-microbial treated with hydration system compatibility.
