Description

This billet aluminum air filter adapter is designed to fit 5 through 6.5 hp Tecumseh & Briggs OHV engines w/ 35mm bolt spacing. These are commonly used for Log Splitters, Mowers, Pressure Washers, Snow Throwers, & Generators. Also found on many Yerf Dog Go Karts and many brands of mini bikes.

The smooth transition allows for maximum airflow when building performance engines, but also offers maximum benefit when used to replace damaged or missing airbox bases on older units.

The center to center bolt-hole spacing is 1-3/8″ (34.925mm) w/ 3/16″ (5mm) bolt holes. The overall diameter is 2-5/32″ (54.8mm) with overall height of 29/32″ (23mm).

The carb venturi opening is 1-1/16″ (27mm). This is 3/16″ (5mm) larger than the typical opening to allow for venturi porting if so desired, but can also be run as is with no performance penalty.

This adapter will space the base of the filter about 3/8″ (10mm) away from the carburetor face. Thread locking compound is highly recommended for the mounting screws. A gasket or thin coating of fuel resistant silicone is recommended for the mounting face.
