The JIMS Plain 6-Speed Clean-Cut Transmission is designed for use with '91-'99 Evolution motors and can be adapted to earlier models with the appropriate components. It features a close-ratio 1st gear, stock 2nd through 5th gears, and a .86:1 overdrive 6th gear for improved performance. Constructed from durable 8620 steel, the transmission has CNC-machined gears and shifter dogs with lead-in ramps for smoother and faster shifting. Installation requires a clutch-release rod and bearing, final drive sprocket, and transmission lube (JIMS recommends Bel-Ray 85-140 gear lube), all sold separately.
