The Arai Ram-X Helmet features an intermediate oval shape that fits most North American head shapes. It utilizes the Variable Axis System (VAS) for a lower pivot point, allowing for a smoother shell in the temple area, improving the ability to glance off impacts. The VAS-Z shield system offers a lower pivot position, enhancing the helmet's aerodynamics and safety. The one-piece, multi-density EPS liner improves impact absorption, while the Z Resin shell construction enhances strength while reducing weight. Additional features include the Pro Shade System that adapts to various light conditions, glasses compatibility with removable foam in the earcups, and an included Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens.
