The Arai Ram-X Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit most head shapes in North America. Featuring the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover, the helmet provides a smoother shell along the Snell test line, improving its ability to glance off objects upon impact. The VAS-Z shield system employs a lower pivot point for a more seamless temple area, enhancing the helmet's ability to slide smoothly in case of contact. Equipped with a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner, the Ram-X ensures superior protection. The Z Resin construction integrates multiple resins, reducing weight while enhancing shell strength. The Pro Shade System adapts to various lighting conditions without affecting impact absorption, and the helmet is glasses-compatible with removable foam in the earcups. The VAS-Z shield accepts a Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens, included with the helmet. Certified to SNELL M2020, NHSTA, and DOT standards.
