The Arai Ram-X Helmet features an intermediate oval shape that fits the majority of head shapes in North America. It incorporates the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover, which is smaller and lower, providing a smoother shell along the Snell test line to enhance impact glancing capabilities. The VAS-Z shield system features a lower pivot point for better aerodynamics and improved impact deflection. The helmet includes a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner and utilizes Z Resin for a stronger yet lighter shell. The Pro Shade System adapts to varying light conditions without compromising impact absorption. Glasses compatibility is ensured with removable foam near the earcups. VAS-Z shield accepts Pinlock® lenses, and a Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens is included.
