The Arai Ram-X Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape, fitting the majority of head shapes in the North American market. It features the Variable Axis System (VAS) for a smaller and lower pivot cover, improving its ability to glance off objects during an impact. The VAS-Z shield system provides a smoother temple area, enhancing the helmet's ability to slide during contact with the ground or obstacles. The multi-density EPS liner and Z Resin shell construction increase strength while reducing weight. The Pro Shade System adapts to various light conditions without affecting impact absorption. This helmet is also glasses-compatible, with removable foam in the earcup area. The VAS-Z shield accepts Pinlock® lenses and includes a Pinlock®-120 fog-resistant lens. Certified to SNELL M2020 and DOT standards.
