The Arai Ram-X Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit most head shapes in the North American market. It features the Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot cover, which is smaller and lower, allowing for a smoother shell along the Snell test line in the temple area. This enhances the helmet's ability to glance off objects upon impact. The VAS-Z shield system has a lower pivot point for improved sliding performance. The helmet includes a multi-density EPS liner, Z Resin for enhanced strength with reduced weight, and a Pro Shade System that adapts to varying light conditions. Additional features include glasses compatibility, removable earcups for easy cleaning, and a VAS-Z shield that accepts a Pinlock® lens. Includes a Pinlock® 120 fog-resistant lens.
