The Arai Corsair-X Shogun Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit most head shapes in the North American market. Featuring an advanced ventilation system with an enhanced air extraction system, it pulls hot/moist air from the eye port area through ducted channels behind the cheek pads, exhausting out the side cowl vents to keep the rider cool and reduce fogging.

The PB-SNC2 Shell utilizes Z Resin, which bonds layers securely while reducing weight and improving strength. Super Fiber and special synthetic reinforcing fibers provide excellent impact resistance and Glancing Off properties. The internal Structural Net and Peripheral Belt further strengthen the shell without adding excessive weight or thickness.

The Variable Axis System (VAS) latch mechanism securely holds the shield closed to prevent unexpected openings, while the VAS shield mechanism allows smooth operation even with a lower shield mount position. The dual-function lever simplifies shield removal, and the larger latch enables intuitive operation even while wearing gloves.

The IC Duct5 venting system utilizes a three-position slide gate to improve sealing, reducing noise and water intrusion. The vents are designed to break away in an impact to prevent snagging and excess rotational force.
