A skirt coating is applied to reduce wear, friction, and operating noise, while an accumulator groove (on applicable models) enhances ring seal by reducing pressure from combustion gases. These pistons are tailored for the Ford 5.0L Coyote Gen III engine, ensuring optimal durability and performance.
