This is a high-performance piston set designed specifically for 2013 and newer VW/Audi 2.0T TSI engines. The set includes four pistons with a 22mm pin and an 83mm bore, offering a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and a -5.2cc dish. These pistons are crafted from 2618 aluminum, known for its high tensile strength, making them suitable for demanding performance applications. The pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that reduces friction and power loss by minimizing skirt width and shortening the wrist pin, resulting in weight savings. Additionally, they may come with a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear while minimizing operating noise. An accumulator groove, included depending on the application, helps lessen pressure from combustion gases, improving ring seal and reducing ring flutter. Each set comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings.
