The S&S Cycle 106" Big Bore Kit is a high-performance upgrade designed for easy installation, delivering significant power gains without the need for extensive engine modifications. The kit includes premium aluminum cylinders with cast-in iron liners, forged coated pistons, piston rings, and a comprehensive gasket set (head, base, and exhaust). The pistons are engineered to match the stock weight, eliminating the need for flywheel rebalancing, and feature enlarged valve pockets to accommodate oversized valves and higher-lift cams. This kit is compatible with both stock and S&S Super Stock heads and does not require any crankcase machining. For EFI engines, proper tuning is necessary, and S&S recommends the use of Dynojet Power Vision flash tuners for models with Delphi EFI systems. The cylinder finish is designed to closely match the stock Harley-Davidson appearance. This kit is ideal for those seeking enhanced performance while maintaining reliability and ease of assembly. It is recommended that the installation be performed by a skilled technician to ensure proper clearances and specifications.
