The Arai VX-Pro4 Helmet is designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit the majority of head shapes in the North American market. It features a consistently round and smooth shell, maintaining the Glancing Off shape concept. The rounded chin bar ensures compact shell length, reducing the risk of catching or digging during a spill. The helmet is constructed using Super Fiber, which provides 30% higher tensile strength than standard fiberglass, offering increased penetration resistance. The Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell provides durability and safety.

The chin bar vent grill is installed on a rounded chin bar and can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. The Air-Through top-rear-duct center brace functions as a goggle-strap locator, while the diffusers can be removed or replaced quickly with a single screw. The air outlets on the peak are larger to compensate for increased lift and are made from a durable, flexible material. The peak is mounted with plastic screws designed to break on impact, minimizing potential rotational forces.

The helmet includes a removable neck roll for easy cleaning and an emergency release cheek pad system to allow trained medical personnel quick access to an injured rider, reducing the risk of further injury.
