The Alpinestars SM3 Youth Radium Helmet is designed specifically for younger riders and is ideal for MX, Enduro, and Off-road use. This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell made from a special polymer blend for optimal impact protection and reduced weight. The impact-resistant outer thermoplastic shell is paired with a multi-density EPS liner designed to minimize oblique impact forces. The helmet includes a patented low-friction layer to mimic the brain's natural cerebrospinal fluid and reduce rotational acceleration. Ventilation is maximized with 10 intake ports and 7 exhaust ports, and the visor is optimized to channel air into the ports. Other features include a comfort liner made from recycled materials, hydration tube channels, 25mm soft textile chin strap, stainless steel D-rings, and an Emergency Release System with removable cheek pads. Certified to both DOT and ECE 22.06 standards, this helmet offers safety, performance, and comfort for youth riders.
