The Alpinestars SM3 Youth Solid Helmet is engineered and profiled specifically for youth and younger riders. Optimized for MX, Enduro, and off-road use, it features a lightweight thermo-injected shell made from a special polymer blend for superior impact protection. The helmet includes multiple density EPS liner zones for enhanced energy absorption and reduced weight. A patented low-friction coating on the EPS liner mimics cerebrospinal fluid to reduce rotational forces from oblique impacts. With ten ventilation inlets and seven exhaust ports, airflow is maximized, and a visor release system ensures neck safety during impact. The comfort liner is made from recycled materials and includes integrated hydration tube channels. This helmet is DOT and ECE 22.06 certified and includes removable cheek pads with an emergency release system and stainless steel D-rings for secure fit. Youth Medium size shares EPS size with Youth Large, allowing size adjustment as the rider grows.
