The MLX Series 4-Gauge Kit is a comprehensive digital instrumentation system designed for motorcycles, offering a wide range of features and customizability. The kit includes an adjustable speedometer (configurable in MPH or km/h) with odometer, dual trip meters, and service/hour meters, alongside a bar-type tachometer with an adjustable shift point. Additional readings include gear position, clock, voltmeter, oil temperature, and cylinder temperature (where applicable), as well as security and low-fuel indicators. Performance metrics such as high-speed and high-RPM recall, 0-60 time, 1/4-mile time and speed, and numeric RPM readout are accessible in the two-line message center. The system also supports the addition of sensors (sold separately) for oil pressure, oil temperature, and optional MBM expansion modules, enabling displays for air pressure, boost, and compass heading. The high-visibility LED display adjusts automatically for optimal readability, brightening in direct sunlight and dimming for nighttime use. Riders can choose from 31 illumination colors to customize the display, with independent color settings for speed, bar-graph readouts, message center details, and gauge labels. Alternatively, 12 preset themes are available. Small gauges in the kit are fully programmable for tailored layouts, and the system is a direct plug-in replacement, streamlining installation.
