The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket is designed for durability and performance, featuring multiple layers of stainless steel for enhanced strength, resilience, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a heat-resistant fluoropolymer material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring reliable sealing under various conditions. The uncoated stainless steel center layer allows for multiple thickness options to accommodate different engine requirements. This gasket is ideal for use with aluminum heads on aluminum or cast iron blocks, effectively handling the shearing forces between different metals. Designed for 2008-2017 Suzuki GSX-R600 models, it has a 68mm bore and a .027-inch thickness.
