Extreme Sealing Technology (EST) gaskets feature embossed steel gaskets covered with a proprietary rubber material or solid copper. Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gaskets feature two outer Fluorocarbon Rubber,-coated embossed spring steel layers with an inner steel layer to provide support. Withstands the shearing forces created by aluminum heads on case iron blocks. MLS gaskets retain torque.

Single-Layer Steel (SLS) gaskets feature a stainless steel core with embossed outer surfaces that create a heavy-duty seal between the center steel layer and the mating surface. Fluorocarbon Rubber gaskets feature a stainless steel core with a 0.001" thick coating of Fluorocarbon Rubber rubber on both sides.
