The Hot Rods Connecting Rod Kit for Suzuki RM250 (1987-1995) and RMX250 is a heavy-duty OE replacement designed for high performance and durability. The kit includes a forged 8620 AISI steel connecting rod, crank pin, crankpin bearing, wrist pin bearing, and phosphor bronze thrust washers. Crankpins are made from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to 58-62Rc. The rod features caged needle roller bearings for high-RPM longevity and a uniquely designed big end with side scallops and vent slots to reduce bearing race distortion. The small ends are double drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling. The rod is shot-peened to eliminate surface stress and double-honed for an ultra-round bearing surface. This kit is compatible with Hot Rods and OE crankshafts.
