The Kibblewhite Precision Valve Guide is designed to optimize airflow while ensuring durability in high-temperature conditions. Its profile minimizes obstruction to the airstream while maintaining critical cross-sectional thickness for enhanced performance and longevity. In some applications, simply installing these guides improves airflow without additional modifications. These guides feature a flange or a reduced diameter section to ensure proper protrusion without repeated measurements during installation. Tight concentricity tolerances help maintain optimal seat-to-guide geometry, reducing material removal during valve jobs and ensuring consistent chamber volumes. Manufactured from premium materials, the C630 Racing Bronze variant contains 80% copper with 5% nickel and 10% aluminum, offering excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to wear and galling. The Manganese Bronze version, with 60% copper, provides good thermal conductivity and high-speed anti-seizure properties. While not as hard as C630 bronze, the manganese bronze guides can be reamed to size with a carbide reamer. Both materials are highly resistant to corrosion, making them well-suited for modern pump and performance fuels. The aluminum content enhances compatibility with aluminum cylinder heads. A radius transition from the nose profile to the main body prevents galling during installation. Each kit includes two valve guides unless otherwise specified.
